Getting to the Village Car Park, Falkland, Fife.
Make your way to the village of Falkland - it’s on the A912 from Glenrothes/Cupar to Perth. Falkland Palace is one of Fife’s main tourist attractions and is well signposted.
When you get to Falkland, turn into the main street (East Port), which is where you can find Falkland Palace.
Pass the palace on your right, and continue up the street until you see the Bruce Fountain (in the middle of the square). About 50 metres before the fountain, take the narrow road on your left (there's a cash machine on the corner, and also a big blue "P" sign).
This is very narrow, so please take care.
In about 100 metres, there is a wide opening on the left. This is the entrance to the village car park. Take the turning and drive in until you come to the main parking area, and park somewhere near the entrance to the Community Village Hall.
There is no charge for parking in this car park, but be sure to park within a marked bay. Falkland is a popular place for tourists and it can get busy. That makes it a honey pot for parking enforcement, and we’d hate you to get a parking ticket!
